DENVER -- Denver will have a new police chief on Monday, when Commander Paul Pazen officially takes over for current Chief Robert White.

Pazen, who grew up near Jefferson Park, has been in charge of the northwest Denver's District 1 for six years.

He sat down with Next to discuss immigration policy, his plan to cut domestic violence calls, use of force, and how the department will change under his leadership.
