Hundreds of people have shared a post on Facebook about Pueblo being a tropical paradise

No, Jordan Howard does not think Pueblo is a tropical paradise (despite what that Facebook post you've seen from him says ...).

During the day, Jordan Howard works at an ink factory. But by night, he makes sick memes … and one of them has since gone semi-viral and might have some people booking “tropical vacations” to Pueblo, Colorado.

“I wanted to see how many gullible people there are on Facebook,” Howard said.

The post in question shows a beautiful island that’s purported to be Pueblo. Since we respect you as an audience, we won’t go too deep into explaining that Pueblo, while a fine place, is landlocked and is not home to sea turtles or beautiful bungalows.

The caption on his post reads “OMG #travelgoals.” It has been shared more than 2,000 times since Sunday night.

“I went to bed, it had started to pick up a little bit, it was like eight or nine this morning that I started waking up and seeing it really took off,” Howard said.

Many people in town got the joke. Others? Well, it’s not clear. Others still were just confused.

Howard said he saw a similar meme and decided to add his own Pueblo spin. For the record, he lives in Colorado Springs but said he has no problem with his neighbor to the south.

“I was poking a little bit of fun at Pueblo, but it was just a big trajectory,” he said.

He said he’s had five or six posts go viral, but it’s just for fun. For the record, he said his friends and family like to watch and see what happens.

“Oh yeah … I just like Facebook,” he said.
