No one was injured after a plane flipped over at Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport.

KUSA — No one was injured after a single-engine plane that was trying to land at Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport Monday morning skidded down the runway on its nose and flipped over onto its roof.

The crash happened at 11:45 a.m., according to North Metro Fire. The pilot was the only person onboard the Cessna aircraft at the time.

North Metro Fire says one runway was closed due to the crash, but the other remained open.
