FORT COLLINS - After agreeing to $36,000 in restitution, committing to working 10 weekends for non-profits and completing a 90-day sentence, Richard and Mayumi Heene now have their balloon back.
The pair pleaded guilty to perpetrating the hoax on Nov. 13 and were handed short jail sentences. Richard Heene pleaded guilty to falsely influencing authorities and his wife pleaded guilty to filing a false report.
They were allowed to serve their sentences separately so one of them could care for their three sons. />
