SHERIDAN, Colorado — A sinkhole closed several roads near South Santa Fe Drive and West Oxford Avenue during Monday's evening rush hour.
These were the road closures, according to the Sheridan Police Department:
- Northbound Santa Fe at Union
- Eastbound Oxford Avenue at River Point
- Eastbound and Westbound Oxford between Santa Fe and Windmere
All roads have since reopened, Sheridan PD said in a tweet.
Sheridan police tweeted an updated photo just after 7 p.m. showing the size of the sinkhole after waters had receded.
