Summer movie discount deals for kids

Here are some of the discounts happening at the box office this summer.

DENVER — School will be out soon and that means kids will have a lot more free time on their hands and parents will be busy trying to keep them entertained.

AMC Summer Movie Camp

Again this year, AMC is offering its Summer Movie Camp, through the program, you get admission to a kid-friendly movie and a KidsPack for $4 plus tax every Wednesday during the summer. The KidsPack includes popcorn, fruit snacks, and a drink.

The deal is good at participating theaters starting June 4. In Colorado, there are just two locations, according to the AMC website.

The list of titles includes "Smallfoot," "Trolls," "Hotel Transylvania 3," "Peter Rabbit," "Wonder Park," "How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World" and more. 

Regal Summer Movie Express

Regal also has its Summer Movie Express Program, which offers movies for $1 on Tuesday and Wednesday morning throughout the summer months.

There are several participating locations in the Denver metro area.

CinneMark Summer Movie Clubhouse

CinneMark Summer Movie Clubhouse offers 10 weeks of fun films for kids between May 27 and September 8. The movies are $1 per person at the box office on the day of the movie.

See all 10 for $5 by purchasing a ten-week series punch card at the theatre box office, while supplies last, at participating theatres, which are in Boulder, Denver and Lakewood.

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Kids Camp

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema has its Signature Series Kids Camp where you choose your own ticket price - $1, $3 or $5, and buy your tickets online to reserve your seats in advance. 100% of ticket sales are donated to local nonprofits working to make our community a better place.

Harkins Theatres Summer Movie Fun

Through the program, kids can enjoy a movie a week for 10 weeks, for less than $1 per film. Tickets are the same price for adults and children, however, adults will not be admitted unless a child accompanies them.
