This is basically the exact opposite of a parking ticket

For once, parking agents get to deliver good news (and for those of you complaining that it's "only" $5, hey, it's $5 you didn't have!).

If you’ve lived in Denver long enough, you know exactly what it’s like to find a yellow envelope on your car, to suddenly realize that you’re suddenly $50 poorer.

Tickets are the worst, but for once, Denver’s parking enforcement crew actually gets to deliver good news … for a couple weeks, at least.

It’s parking of the “Parking Angels” program. This basically means that from now until Dec. 23, when Denver Right of Way Enforcement agents see people parking correctly, they could get a $5 ParkSmart Denver card.

This basically means you get free parking at one of 6,000 Smart Meters in the Mile High City.

For what it’s worth, you can load up ParkSmart cards at multiple locations in the city. You can find more information about that here: parksmartdenver.com
