A person was injured after a van carrying multiple propane tanks caught fire in Denver on Thursday, a spokesperson with the Denver Fire Department told 9NEWS.
According to Greg Pixley with Denver fire, the driver noticed a leak and was getting out when the van first caught fire and then spread. "A number" of explosions were created from the propane, freon and acetylene tanks being transported inside.
This happened at Gilpin Street and Alameda Avenue south of the Denver Country Club.
Fire officials urge people to stay away from this area as they work to clean.
