LONGMONT, Colo. — Where does a deer go to get its groceries? King Soopers, apparently.
A deer ran right in the front door of the King Soopers store on South Hover Street in Longmont on Monday night.
He took a stroll through the produce section before heading to the deli. He was inside the store for about an hour.
Longmont police officers responded and the deer remained in the deli area of King Soopers until Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) officers arrived.
Some shelves were knocked over and the deer suffered some minor injuries. Eventually, he was removed by CPW officers and released back into the wild.
