DENVER — A woman who was reported missing in El Paso County last week may be in the Denver area, according to the El Paso County Sheriff's Office

Angelita Godinez, 25, was reported missing around 6 p.m. Sept. 14. Deputies said she was released from the El Paso County Jail on Sept. 8. The person who reported her missing had last spoken to her on Sept. 5, according to the sheriff's office.

Deputies said the caller was concerned because Godinez has not had contact with friends or family, which is not typical for her.

Godinez is described as a white or Hispanic woman, about 5 feet 1 inch tall and 110 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. She has tattoos of a lady and roses on her right arm, "Andres" on both wrists, and a ribbon bow on the back of her neck.

She was last seen wearing black shorts, a light gray or white tank top with pink trim, and pink and brown sandals.

Deputies believe Godinez may be in the Denver area, and possibly around Dakota Avenue.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the El Paso County Sheriff's Office at 719-520-6666.
