CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - The Governor's Office in Wyoming says arthroscopic surgery to repair Governor Dave Freudenthal's worn rotator cuff in his left shoulder was successful.
The operation was expected to be an outpatient procedure, and Freudenthal was set to return to his Cheyenne residence that afternoon. P >Secretary of State Max Maxfield served as acting governor while Freudenthal was in surgery. P >The 58-year-old Freudenthal is in his second term as Wyoming governor. He's expected to resume his regular duties next week. />
