KUSA – No one was injured after metal from a construction site near Union Station fell on an RTD commuter train Tuesday morning.
RTD spokesperson Tina Jaquez said an operator heard the metal fall on the roof of the train at around 9:10 a.m. Tuesday.
The train was promptly pulled onto another track and passengers were moved to a spare train, Jaquez said.
It’s unclear at this point if the train was damaged. It is being taken out of service for maintenance.
