Vail Resorts said it will give veterans up to a 90 percent discount off its Epic Pass ski pass.

The Broomfield company (NYSE: MTN) said it will sell the Military Epic Pass for $99 to all U.S. active and retired military personnel and their dependents when they go on sale next week. All other veterans can buy a Military Epic Pass for $499, which is about 40 percent less than the regular price of an Epic Pass. This past season, Vail Resorts charged $859 for an Epic Pass.

Vail Resorts also said it will contribute approximately $1.5 million to veterans' organizations.

The company said it will donate $1 for every 2018-19 Vail Resorts season pass sold. Based on last year's pass sales, that would be around $750,000.
