9Cares Colorado Shares: donate clothing

Donated clothing will support ARC Thrift Stores.

For more than 35 years, 9Cares Colorado Shares has been the region’s largest single-day food drive, collecting food for more than 100 Colorado food banks.

But we also collect many other items to help support community members in need. On November 18, between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. you can drop off gently used clothing. It will be go to our partner, ARC Thrift Stores.

9NEWS will be at the following Metro area locations:

  • 9NEWS Studios (Speer & Logan)
  • Hilton Denver Inverness (East of I-25 and Dry Creek)
  • Southwest Plaza (Wadsworth & Bowles)
  • Pima Medical Institute (Mississippi & Potomac)
  • American Furniture Warehouse (I-25 & 84th)

Proceeds from the sales are distributed to Arc Chapters and the Association for Community Living (ACL) throughout Colorado.

The mission of the arc Thrift Stores is to enhance the lives of individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities and their families.

We also have 30 Front Range locations where donations will be accepted.

In addition to clothing, food and coats, you can also donate toys. We'll be collecting items for the Denver Santa Claus Shop. This year they hope to serve more than 12,000 children in need.
