Buddy Check 9: Two-time cancer survivor hosts golf outing for Komen

Indian Tree Rally for the Cure is coming up on Friday, June 22 at Indian Tree Golf Course

ARVADA – She survived breast cancer twice and used golf as part of her recovery.

Now, Ann Wolta Blackstone is using golf to help raise money for breast cancer research and awareness.

The LPGA teaching pro started the Indian Tree Rally for the Cure 10 years ago. Since then she’s raised more than $82,000 for Susan G. Komen Colorado.

This year’s event is Friday, June 22 at Indian Tree Golf Course in Arvada.
