DENVER - Generous Coloradans donated 250,534 pounds of food, $59,848 on a frigid 9Cares Colorado Shares drive on Saturday.

We also received thousands of toys, coats and toiletries for those in need.

These donations were collected at four sites in the Denver metro area as well as at remote sites around the state.

Thank you to all who took time out of your weekend to drop off canned food, checks, gently-used clothes, toiletries, baby items and more.

Your generosity makes a big difference in our community.

MORE | Where does the food you donate to 9Cares Colorado Shares go?

If you did not get a chance to stop by on Saturday, you can still donate by purchasing a $10 9Cares Colorado Shares box at your local King Soopers or City Market location.

They will be available all this month.
