Help keep Coloradans warm with Coats for Colorado

On Nov. 17, coats can be donated at the 9Cares Colorado Shares food drive.

DENVER — For the last 37 years, Coloradans have helped each other stay warm through the winter by donating to the Coats for Colorado drive.

The campaign, sponsored by Dependable Cleaners, takes place annually from Oct. 1 through Nov. 30 and is one of the largest coat drives in the country.

Coats for Colorado looks for new and gently-used heavy coats. Every year, they collect and distribute thousands of coats for people of all ages, however, kids’ coats are the most requested from their non-profit partners.

On Nov. 17, coats can be donated at the 9Cares Colorado Shares food drive. The drive is taking place from 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. at four Denver metro locations.

Right now, coats can be donated at any Dependable Cleaners locations throughout the metro area. A full list of locations can be found here: https://bit.ly/2yUUe9M.

Even if you do not have a coat to donate, you can help Coats for Colorado through Amazon.

Coats for Colorado is an AmazonSmile charity, a simple and automatic way for anyone to support the drive every time they shop on Amazon. In addition, Coats for Colorado has a Wish List set up on Amazon. Items purchased from the list can be shipped directly to Dependable Cleaners.
