Vice President Mike Pence appeared in Colorado Thursday

KUSA — Vice President Mike Pence’s appeared in Denver Thursday for a fundraiser lunch.

The America First Action Lunch supports a Super PAC that is “dedicated to electing federal candidates who support the agenda of the Trump-Pence administration,” according to its website.

Pence flew into Buckley Air Force Base in Aurora on Air Force Two at 11:05 a.m., according to a news release.

Following his event in Denver, he went to Tulsa, Oklahoma for a GOP rally and then to Wichita, Kansas, where he stumped for gubernatorial hopeful Kris Kobach.

Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders also visited Colorado recently, headlining the Get Out the Vote" rally.
