DIA gets new non-stop flight to Memphis

Southwest Airlines launched its new, nonstop service to the Mile High City — its seventh destination from Memphis.

Flights between Memphis International Airport and Denver International Airport will now run daily on a Boeing 737.

“This new route to Denver continues our purpose of connecting people to what’s important in their lives," said Ana Schwager, Southwest Airlines’ community affairs and grassroots regional leader. “The route will make it easier and faster for Memphis travelers to reach the Rocky Mountains and more destinations within the Southwest network.”

On weekdays, the flight from Memphis to Denver will depart at 10:30 a.m.; on Saturdays, the flight will depart Memphis at 10:45 a.m.; and it will depart at 12:50 p.m. on Sundays. According to Southwest's website, a ticket for Oct. 4, flying business select would be $354.
