DENVER — August 2018 was the busiest August in Denver International Airport history.
Denver International Airport again set a monthly passenger traffic record when more than 5.9 million travelers passed through the airport in August, the airport announced in a news release.
DIA says 246,170 more passengers traveled through the airport this August than the previous August, a 4.3 percent increase. This August was the second-busiest month ever for the airport.
The new August passenger traffic record marks the 11th consecutive month of record-breaking numbers.
