Identical twin women are facing several charges, including bias motivated crimes causing injury, after getting drunk and attacking their Hispanic neighbors back in May, according to an arrest affidavit.

According to the 17th Judicial District Attorney's Office, Natasha and Shala Fross, both 26, are facing two counts of bias motivated crime causing bodily injury - a fourth-degree felony - and one count of third-degree trespass, a petty offense.

According to an arrest affidavit, the Commerce City Police Department was called to the 6700 block of Ash Street in Commerce City just after 7:30 p.m. on May 7 about two white women attacking their Hispanic neighbors and yelling racial insults at the family.

The Fross sisters told the officer they lived across the street and refused to heed the officer's command to wait at their home, the affidavit says, instead continuing to yell at the "Mexican" family. The arrest affidavit identifies the family only as Hispanic.

One of the victims of the Fross's alleged attacks told the officer they were standing outside their mom's home, where they were staying, and that she and her mom were talking with their also-Hispanic neighbor. That's when the sisters came out of their house, across the street and started screaming at them to get out of the country and calling them Mexicans, the affidavit says.

The victim threatened to call police, and the Fross sisters allegedly returned to their house, but came back out when the two victims were walking back to their house, the affidavit says.

According to police, the victims told police that the Fross sisters then started physically attacking the victim's mother while hurling racial insults at her, punching her head and pulling her hair. When the daughter tried to pull Natasha Fross off her mother, she started attacking her instead, the report says. Soon the other Fross sister allegedly started attacking the other woman as well.

Both women were hurt in the attack, the affidavit says. Neighbors confirmed the victims' version of events. The Fross's nephew reportedly told the arresting officer that the sisters had gotten drunk and were "out of control" outside the house before they started attacking the neighbors.

Editor's note: The court document obtained by 9NEWS is listed to Adams County Sheriff's Office, but it was Commerce City police who arrested the twins.
