KUSA - Rows of corn stalks offer families an exciting opportunity during the fall -- the chance to navigate the Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield Farms' annual corn maze.

The 7-acre maze is filled with tricky twists and turns, as well as two 15-foot tall bridges that afford a view of the maze overhead.

Outside the maze are several kid-only attractions, including a hayride, a barrel train ride, a jumping pillow and pony rides. Food vendors sell festival favorites like funnel cakes, kettle corn and freshly squeezed lemonade.

At night, patrons can test their nerves in the "After Dark Corn Maze" by attempting to navigate the corn stalk-lined pathways with just the light of a glow stick.

The bravest souls can also take on the maze on select nights throughout October for "Dead Zone Scream Park," when the scarecrows and clowns come out and it transforms into the Corn Stalkers Haunted Maze.

The maze will be open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from Sept. 21-Oct. 28.
