Watch the nominees for 9Preps Play of the Week, then vote for your favorite.

The high school winter sports season is underway, which means basketball, wrestling, hockey and swimming take over the Prep Rally Honor Roll.

But first, coming in at number five, the Cherry Creek poms, who just wrapped up their in-state competition season at the Denver Coliseum. The Bruins placed first in the 5A poms division, and put up the highest score of any team -- or specialty -- of anyone all weekend.

Number four starts with a turnover, and ends at the net. Smoky Hill's Quinten Rock comes up with a steal and alley in his team's game against Grand Junction -- teammate Kenny Foster has the oop. The Buffaloes tandem helped their team run past the Tigers in tournament play.

The number three play this week heads to the mats. In the 138 pound championship bout for the 20-team Columbine Invitational, Pagosa Springs' Sam Hinger gets a one point lead. But, with just four seconds to go, Heritage's Derek mackey fights back, scoring the reversal for the 3-2 championship win.

Kent Denver is stepping up for the number two play this week. Amanda Licht led all scorers in her team's game against Eaton -- and that included getting points the hard way. Licht stepped out of her shoe to her knees, before tossing up a two-point basket.

But this week's top play is a half-court buzzer beater for the win. Weld Central's Noah Sena nailed the shot to lift the Rebels over Wiggins, 63-60.

We've ranked them, now we'd like to hear what you think should be our top play!
