CASTLE ROCK — It was a back-and-forth battle at Douglas Stadium on Friday night as Highlands Ranch faced off against conference rival Castle View.
The game was a shootout with both teams matching the other blow for blow. At halftime, things were tied 21-21. And just as it did in the first half, the scoreboard lit up again in the second.
The difference was the fourth quarter, which belonged to Castle View, led by junior running back Jordan Jackson's three rushing touchdowns.
The Sabercats ended up getting the best of the Falcons 41-28.
Friday's win improves Castle View to 6-2 overall, 2-1 in 5A Metro South League play. Highlands Ranch falls to 2-6, 1-2 MSL.
