The Cherry Creek girls basketball team went into winter break on back-to-back losses, their first of the season.
On Thursday, the Bruins returned with a convincing 57-32 win over Mullen to bounce back in 2019.
The win improved Cherry Creek, ranked No. 4 in Class 5A, to 6-2 overall on the season. It was also the first Centennial League game of the season for both the Bruins and Mustangs. Mullen fell to 5-5 on the season.
