A big conference showdown the 4A Jeffco League, the 4-3 Golden Demons taking on the 4-3 Wheat Ridge Farmers at Trailblazer Stadium.
The Farmers jumped out to an early 13-0 lead; however, the Golden Demons responded in a big way rattling off 27 points to cruise by Wheat Ridge 27-16.
Golden is now 5-3 on the year and 1-2 in league play, Wheat Ridge sits at 4-4 and 1-2 in league play. Golden will host Bear Creek next week while Wheat Ridge will take on Dakota Ridge.
