DENVER — Note: These are highlights from the Cherry Creek vs. Highlands Ranch 5A girls Final Four game at the Coliseum on Thursday night. CHSAA has since made the decision to cancel the remaining state tournament games.
The defending state champion Bruins defeated the Falcons 55-42 in the last Final Four game of the night Thursday.
Cherry Creek's Cali Clark led all scorers with a game-high 20 points. Kacee Kyle and Jana VanGytenbeek added 12 and 11 points, respectively.
Highlands Ranch was led by Taylor Ray's team-high 17 points, while Payton Muma scored 11.
