Local high school athletes were feeling like the pros this week.

The Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies both hosted events at their facilities for prep athletes to compete.

At All-City Stadium and the Pat Bowlen Fieldhouse, the ninth-annual 7-on-7 and lineman challenge was put on by the Denver Broncos. Nearly 100 high school football teams (96 total) competed in the event.

The Rockies also got in on the action by hosting the Colorado High School Futures game at Coors Field. The all-star game showcased some of the best local baseball talent in a game of seniors versus underclassmen at 20th & Blake.
