DENVER — Nearly 11,000 fans attended this year's 4A and 5A state football championship games at Broncos Stadium at Mile High.

The 5A title game saw Valor Christian and Cherry Creek square off, with the Eagles edging their opponent 24-14 to take home their eighth state championship in the past 10 seasons.

In the 4A championship, the Loveland Indians capped off an undefeated season, defeating Skyline 62-14. The win marked the second highest-scoring 4A game in Colorado high school football history.

This marked the 14th straight year the state's largest title games have taken place at the Denver Broncos' home turf.
