KUSA — The opening week of the high school football season continued on the Sunday morning Prep Rally with a number of new games, as well as the next edition in our summer series, Fanscape.
In 3A, No. 5 ranked Mead took on a visiting Lewis Palmer, which was also the 9NEWS Facebook Game of the Night. In addition, it was a top ten showdown as No. 3 Pueblo East hosted No. 6 Roosevelt.
Fanscape continued this week with a visit to Colorado's high country. Gilpin County, nestled in the mountains near Black Hawk, revamped its home stadium, complete with a new turf surface.
