Unique sport athletes commit at Green Mountain on Signing Day

Four Rams signed National Letters of Intent on Wednesday afternoon.

LAKEWOOD, Colo. — Fencing and beach volleyball aren't among CHSAA sanctioned sports. But that didn't stop a couple Green Mountain High School athletes from getting scholarships.

Four Rams signed National Letters of Intent on Wednesday afternoon on National Signing Day.

Among them were Hunter Grogan, who participates in club fencing, and beach volleyball player Sofia Parisi.

Green Mountain's 2020 signing class included:

  • Braydon Schulz, North Dakota University of Jamestown (baseball)
  • Kasey Klocek, South Dakota State University (XC/track)
  • Hunter Grogan, Vassar College (fencing)
  • Sofia Parisi, Concordia University (beach volleyball)
