Nuggets trade for Thunder forward Jerami Grant, reports say

The Oklahoma City Thunder are set to trade forward Jerami Grant to the Denver Nuggets, sources tell ESPN.

DENVER — The Oklahoma City Thunder will trade forward Jerami Grant to the Denver Nuggets, sources tell ESPN.

The Nuggets will send a 2020 first-round pick to the Thunder for Grant.

Grant, 25, is the son of ex-NBA player Harvey Grant and has played five NBA seasons, including his first three in Philadelphia. Grant was a second-round pick of the 76ers out of Syracuse University in 2014.

The deal is expected to save Oklahoma City $39 million in salary. The additional pick is the sixth first-round pick acquired by Oklahoma City in the last few days.
