BOISE, Idaho — The frustration continues for the Colorado State men’s basketball team.
A first-half shooting clinic for Boise State put the Rams in a big hole Saturday night in Boise.
The Rams rallied early in the second half to briefly make the game close, but couldn’t sustain and Boise State rolled to a 80-59 win.
It’s CSU’s eighth loss in the last 10 games.
Boise State (17-5, 7-2 Mountain West) is one of the leading candidates to win the league and the MW’s top-ranked team in the NET (21 entering Saturday).
The Broncos were 7-10 from 3-point range in the first half and shot 71% in the first 20 minutes. Boise State led by as many as 20 in the first half.
