FORT COLLINS, Colo. — Ten years ago is when Ali Farokhmanesh became a household name for sports fans.
March 20, 2010.
That's the day Farokhmanesh hit one of the most memorable March Madness shots, a late 3-pointer to boost little Northern Iowa past No. 1-seeded Kansas.
A decade later, there's no NCAA tournament because of the spread of the coronavirus, but thankfully Farokhmanesh has a squad to help him recreate the moment.
Ali — an assistant coach on the Colorado State basketball team — his wife Mallory and their kids Tai, Mila and Liam re-enacted the moment in a hilarious video.
