Preston Williams is heading to the NFL.

The Colorado State University wide receiver announced his decision via Twitter on Friday.

The 6-foot-4, 210-pound junior from Lovejoy, Georgia, spent two years at the University of Tennessee before transferring to CSU in 2017. After sitting out the 2017 season due to NCAA Division 1 transfer rules, Williams put together one of the best seasons for a CSU wide receiver.

Williams led the Mountain West and was third in the nation with 96 receptions. He was also fourth in receiving yards with 1,345 and tied for third in touchdowns with 14. He had six games with more than 100 receiving yards, tying for second all-time at CSU. He ranks in the top three for Colorado State receivers in single-season receptions, touchdown catches, and receiving yards.

His lone season in Fort Collins landed him first-team All-Mountain West honors from coaches and the media.
