Broncos re-sign cornerback De’Vante Bausby

Bausby had two starts for the Denver Broncos before being placed on injured reserve on Oct. 8.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Denver Broncos re-signed free-agent cornerback De’Vante Bausby to a one-year contract, Broncos General Manager John Elway announced Friday. 

The fifth-year corner will play in 2020 on a one-year, $825,000 contract with no guarantee, according to 9NEWS Broncos Insider Mike Klis.

Bausby has recorded 38 tackles in 15 games played with Denver (2019), Philadelphia (2018) and Chicago (2016). 

Bausby started two games for the Broncos in 2019 before he was placed on injured reserve on Oct. 8.

Bausby played with the San Antonio Commanders of the Alliance of American Football in 2019, recording 17 tackles, four interceptions and ten passes defensed.
