KUSA – Last one to sign, first through the hole?
The Broncos have signed all ten of their 2018 draft pics after they reached agreement Thursday with third-round running back Royce Freeman on a four-year contract.
Freeman, the No. 71 overall selection, will receive a $997,020 signing bonus on a deal worth about $4.011 million overall.
The 5'11", 230-pound back was a four year starter at Oregon who averaged 1,405 rushing yards, 15 touchdowns and 237 carries a season.
He also averaged 20 catches for another 204 yards per season.
Freeman was primarily the backup to Devontae Booker during the Broncos’ offseason, although the rookie did get his share of first-team reps.
