KUSA—Peyton Manning retired as a Bronco with a party in Denver.

The quarterback retired as a Colt with a sendoff in Indianapolis.

And now Manning has retired from the NFL with a party honoring the occasion Monday night at the Montage Beverly Hills hotel.

The fete, which was put on by Peyton’s wife Ashley, drew A-listers like Justin Timberlake and his wife Jessica Biel and dozens of former teammates, coaches and opponents. Hip-hop artist Chance the Rapper tweeted that he crashed the party.

Among the Broncos attending the affair were Von Miller, Demaryius Thomas and vice president of public relations Patrick Smyth. Former Broncos included Eric Decker, Champ Bailey, Jacob Tamme and Julius Thomas, and among the former Colts were Marvin Harrison, Marshall Faulk, Reggie Wayne, Jeff Saturday and Edgerrin James.

Six active head coaches attended – John Fox, Adam Gase, Mike McCoy, Sean Payton, Rex Ryan and Andy Reid -- as did former head coaches Jon Gruden and Mike Shanahan.

Others attending were Phil Simms, Jim Kelly, LaDainian Tomlinson, Matt Ryan, Archie Manning, Eli Manning, basketball player Reggie Miller and Al Michaels.

Manning told 9NEWS following the Broncos’ trip to the White House he was going to take time off for a year, other than attend football games and give the occasional speech.

“I’ve really worked hard to protect my fall weekends,’’ he said. “I’m going to have free fall weekends for the first time in 22 years. I’m going to be at the Broncos’ season opener. I think they play the Colts in week 2. I’ll be there. There’s some Giants games I want to go to (to watch his brother Eli play) and get back to see my Tennessee Vols, so football will be a part of my fall but it will be on my schedule.”
