Su'a Cravens talks about fire and football on the Broncos Huddle

Denver Broncos safety Su'a Cravens joins Rod Mackey on this week's Broncos Huddle.

DENVER — A week after making his Denver Broncos debut on the field against the Houston Texans, well two weeks counting the bye, Su'a Cravens made his first appearance on the Broncos Huddle.

The hard-hitting safety is excited to face the Los Angeles Chargers this Sunday for several reasons. First and foremost, it gives him a second chance to make a difference with his new team, but it's also a trip home. Cravens played his high school and college football in California.

Being from California means that Cravens has been watching the news the last few days a lot closer than he has in the past. His family has not been affected by the flames with these fires, but he said it happened a lot when he was growing up there.

Cravens also took time during 'Tech Time' to teach some young kids about covering tight ends. That's been a tough accomplishment for the Broncos as a of late, which is also why Denver brought Cravens on board.

Su'a and his teammates are hoping the bye week can get them back on track. Denver has lost five of its last six games since starting the season 2-0. The 7-2 Chargers, on the other hand, are red hot. They've won six in a row, a streak the Broncos will try to end in Los Angeles this weekend.
