DENVER — The Colorado Avalanche have re-signed defenseman Ryan Graves to a one-year contract, the club announced Monday.
The one-year contract will keep Graves, 24, with the Avalanche through the 2019-20 season.
A fourth-round selection of the New York Rangers in the 2013 NHL Draft, Graves was acquired by the Avalanche in a trade on Feb. 26, 2018.
Graves notched five points in 26 games for the Avalanche this past season. Graves also suited up in 32 regular-season games for the Colorado Eagles, tallying nine points.
As a rookie in 2015-16, Graves earned a selection to the AHL All-Star Game after notching 21 points for the Hartford WolfPack.
