Mark your calendars!

The 2018-19 Colorado Avalanche schedule is in, and the opening campaign will take place on Thursday, Oct. 4, against the Minnesota Wild at Pepsi Center.

For tenth time in 13 seasons, Colorado will host its season-opener; however, the team will hit the road for 11 of its first 17 games.

The Avs will play 26 games against its Central Division opponents, meeting the Chicago Blackhawks and the Winnipeg Jets five times. They will also face the Dallas Stars, Minnesota Wild, Nashville Predators and St. Louis Blues four times apiece in the coming season.

Colorado is also scheduled to play 24 games against Pacific Division opponents, and another 32 contests against teams from the Eastern Conference (facing each of the 16 clubs, twice).

Do you want to see the 2017-18 Stanley Cup Champion Washington Capitals? What about last year's Western Conference champ, the Las Vegas Golden Knights? Fans will get a chance. The Avs will host the Capitals at the Pepsi Center on Friday, Nov. 16, and the Golden Knights twice (Feb. 18 and March 27).

If you would like to attend preseason contests and all 41 regular-season home games at the Pepsi Center, tickets are on sale now at ColoradoAvalanche.com. For full season tickets and Avs Pack memberships, you can call 303.4AVS.NHL.

The complete Altitude Sports and Entertainment television broadcast schedule will be announced at a later time.
