Five-time Olympic gold medalist and Regis graduate Missy Franklin shared some big news over the weekend: She’s engaged!
The 23-year-old’s fiancé, Hayes Johnson, is also a swimmer. He competed in the U.S. Olympic Team Trials in 2008 and 2012, and won an NCAA team championship at the University of Texas in 2010.
“Thank you for making this the easiest answer to any question I’ve ever been asked,” Franklin wrote in an Instagram post. “Yes. Yes. Yes. A million times over.”
The pair got engaged at Lake Lanier Islands Resort in Georgia.
