Lindsey Vonn won her 82nd World Cup race on Wednesday in Åre, Sweden.
The victory moves Vonn to within four victories of Ingemar Stenmark's record of 86.
Alice McKennis of Glenwood Springs finished in 3rd place in Wednesday's downhill race.
With a time of 55.65 seconds in the downhill, Vonn bested Sofia Goggia of Italy by 0.06, but Goggia claimed the World Cup title. Vonn finished three points behind Goggia in the season-long standings.
