DEER TRAIL, Colo. — An 18-year-old was killed and four others were injured in a rollover wreck Sunday morning on Interstate 70 near Deer Trail, according to Cpl. Ivan Alvarado with Colorado State Patrol (CSP).

The single-vehicle wreck occurred shortly before 7 a.m. along westbound I-70 near mile marker 336. Alvarado said the vehicle, a minivan, ended up about 200 feet off the road.

One person was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. Four others were taken to the hospital in unknown conditions. Additional details on what led up to the wreck have not yet been released.

One lane of westbound I-70 was closed in the area following the wreck. Alvarado said drugs and alcohol do not appear to be a factor in the crash. An investigation is ongoing.
