Blowing and drifting snow has forced numerous road closures across eastern Colorado.

Eastbound Interstate 70 is closed from Airpark Road to Kansas. The westbound side is closed from Limon to Kansas according to the Colorado Department of Transportation. It's unclear when it might reopen.

The Colorado State Patrol in Sterling says there are 8 semi trucks that have blown over and are blocking Highway 34 west of Akron. With whiteout conditions, CSP says they're having a tough time getting any tow trucks to the area to remove those vehicles.
