DENVER — Early Wednesday morning, several lanes of southbound Interstate 25 were closed at Speer Boulevard due to flooding, according to a tweet from Denver Police.
According to the tweet, police were assisting a person in crisis. There is no word on why the person needed help.
Just before 4:30 a.m., southbound lanes appeared to be open with traffic moving through the area.
