Westbound Interstate 70 at Chamber Road and northbound Interstate 225 at I-70 were closed for hours Friday morning due to a crash involving a Denver Police Department officer.

Pena Boulevard was also closed on the approach to I-70 for a short time.

The eastbound side of I-70 has slowed due to a curiosity delay.

The officer has minor, non-life-threatening injuries and was released from the hospital later on Friday. The driver suffered serious, non-life-threatening injuries.
