Pedestrian killed in crash on I-25 frontage road in Broomfield

No details about how the crash happened have been released.

BROOMFIELD, Colo. — A pedestrian was killed when they were hit by a vehicle on an Interstate 25 frontage road in Broomfield on Sunday night. 

According to the Broomfield Police Department, the crash happened a little before 9 p.m. on the East I-25 Frontage Road between Highway 7 and County Road 6.

The department did not release any other details about the crash, including how it may have happened or about the driver involved. 

That portion of the frontage road and the right lane of I-25 just north of Highway 7 were closed Sunday while police investigated the crash.
