Westbound I-70 at Colorado Boulevard reopens after multi-vehicle rollover crash

CDOT says the crash on I-70 at Colorado Boulevard has been cleared after causing a hours-long delay Wednesday morning.

DENVER — A rollover crash involving multiple vehicles that closed westbound Interstate 70 at Colorado Boulevard has been cleared Wednesday morning.

The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) said all lanes of traffic were blocked as crews work to clean up the crash, which was reported at about 6:30 a.m., and around 8:30 a.m. said the crash had been cleared.

Video from SKY9 showed an overturned box truck at the scene as well as other passenger vehicles involved in the crash. It's unclear if anyone was injured.

A detour was in place using the off and on-ramps at Colorado Boulevard, CDOT said.
