COMMERCE CITY — A road in Commerce City was completely closed during Thursday morning's commute due to severe buckling.
Early Thursday the city said East 104th Avenue was closed in both directions between Potomac and Blackhawk, according to a post on its Facebook page
It was closed so that emergency repairs could be made and there was no estimated time on when it might reopen.
The city said detours were in place and that the closure was necessary due to unsafe driving conditions.
Earlier this week a section of Parker Road near Broncos Parkway had to have emergency repairs due to buckling.
